Travel Tips From Our Followers – via Twitter

Travel Tips From Our Followers

Today there will be a bit of a twist on our weekly travel questions.

Instead of answering our readers questions, we decided to ask our awesome twitter followers to share their best travel tips with the world, read on below and see some of the great answers we got:

  • @IsabellesTravel: Pack an extra outfit in your carry on, in case ur checked luggage gets lost.
  • @RunawayJuno: Always bring dozens of plastic bags and baby wipes :)
  • @GerardWard: Never shy away from difference. You’ll always end up with a great story.
  • @Tucan_Travel: To always expect the unexpected and keep your cool.
  • @The Aussie Nomad: Always say yes when hostel people ask you to come out with them
  • @SeatOfOurPants: Be realistic about your itinerary & don’t try to fit too much in.
  • @VagabondQuest: Don’t plan too much, be flexible. Keep your options open.
  • @FootprintBooks: Always learn AT LEAST, hello, please & thank you in the local language
  • @On_The_Go_Tours: When you hear the drinks trolley coming down the plane, you know you’re not going to die
  • @LegalNomads: Duct tape and a headlamp. Both extraordinarily useful
  • @JohnnyVagabond: Bring several bandannas — the perfect travel tool

Thank you so much for sharing this valuable and fun advice, and in case you missed or simply would like to add another awesome travel tip, you’re more than welcome to write it in the comments  below, we would love to hear it :)
