Lately I've had an unexplainable obsession and fascination with butterflies and desperately want a tattoo of one…this butterfly's colors could be the only colors I'll put on my body art.

  • Sofia_AsWeTravel

Butterflies are beautiful and always look great as tattoos! Good color choice ;)
We just moved to this new apartment with a Tattoo shop right next door – TEMPTING!

Oh man! Better you than me because I'm addicted to ink. If I wasn't going RTW, Id be spendin way more money than I should on ink. Heart it!

    Again, great pictures.

Haha that's the way to go ;) What tattoos do you have so far?
Nathan is planning a full covering sleeve tattoo on his right arm, but he can't afford it right now since he rather spends his money on travels. But I'm guessing he won't be able to resist it much longer :P

I too want a tattoo but find it hard to come up with an idea that I know I'll always like :S
    Do you regret any?

  • Jen

Anarchy symbol, bat on tree, spider, sparrow. No regrets. While these tats may not be something incredibly and outwardly symbolic like say a lotus flower or koi fish, they've certainly developed a symbolism as a whole. They seem to represent where my mind was at tge time of inking: bats spiders = darkness and maybe negativity, while the anarchy is more like an F U, which is exactly what I felt at the time (a sort of surge of independence and disregard for others' rules) and the sparrow a more positive mindset. My obsession and desire for a butterfly fit into that idea. I think, anyway.

Future tat plans? Definitely sleeves. A pin up for sure. The rest? Not so sure. It's definitely been an idea to get inked everywhere I go, though it doesn't seem very smart right now. We'll see :) Got any?
