haha do you actually eat the entire head? How was the taste? Looks good though.. Crispy, no? :)
Actually we eat fish head here in Korea too. There's an old saying, the best part of food are the head of fish and the tail of pork/cow. haha

yeah I didn't eat it – Sofia was the one :p but she just cut the head off – don't think she wanted to eat it hehe wow you eat them there? and the tail of a cow? :p I didn't know that – sounds interesting – does it taste nice for you?

hehe really? :p you are crazy haha what does it taste (feel) like?

Yeah, Hungary isn't really known for their food. I'm surprised the fish head wasn't stained red. You may have found the ONLY dish without an overwhelming amount of paprika in it.

I wouldn't eat the head. However, since living in Asia for so long it no longer bothers me to be served a fish with a head. There is a time when i would have screamed…:)

I have friends and cousins that thing the head is the most delicious piece from a fish or chicken, but for me I take it as decoration only.

haha yeah it sorta makes the meal more of an adventure eh – the meal turns up and there is a WHOLE fish just sitting there looking @ you :p

Hey Nancie – yeeah we got a fright as well, but for many countries this is part of their culture – so seeing these kinds of things add to your over-all experience of a place – something you wouldn't see back home…

luck it was only paprika – for a second I thought you were going to say they normally bring it out bleeding :p

Haha, do you sometimes get chicken head too? My husband and I love this delicious fried chicken restaurant and they serve the whole chicken complete with the head. I usually had to snap the head off and hide it somewhere because my husband doesn't like to see it. Same with what you say about the fish head, he feels the chicken is staring at him :)

hehe no chicken head yet :p I dunno if I could handle that either – a bit to *real* :S – thanks for the link to your blog – some great stuff there! have a nice day :)
