This is a great list. I would add the recent visual-only documentary called Samsara. Here is a link to the trailer on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0xVp3N-M84 It is sure to inspire travel!

I think my favorite was the Motorcycle Diaries. It’s not just a Che Guevara biography, but also a story of two guys that just want to see everything they can. It starts out as a funny travel story, and it gradually becomes deeper and deeper, until you can see the Che who wants to break his people out of poverty. It’s a very powerful movie.

Hey There, that’s a good list. I have seen this movie ‘Eat, Pray , Love’ and it truly inspired me to travel. I think ‘Into the wild’ should also be considered in this list. If you haven’t watch this movie, please do it. Christopher Mccadless was a true traveler.

What about a movie called “The Beach”?, a 2000 adventure drama film based on the novel. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio. It was filmed on the Thai island famous Koh Phi Phi. This movie shows a lot of beautiful scenes of clear crystal blue water, white sand and interesting things in Thailand.
